The haute horologerie Maison Jaeger-LeCoultre has been an active supporter of film from Shanghai to San Sebastian, and most recently at the 74th Venice International Film Festival at the Palazzo del Cinema in Venice as the official sponsor and payed tribute to the creative talent of filmmakers by annually awarding the Glory to the Filmmaker Award.
Alexander Payne’s “Downsizing” movie opened this year’s Venice International Film Festival. On this occasion, the American filmmaker chose to wear a Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Moon watch in steel.
Jaeger-LeCoultre Deputy CEO Geoffroy Lefebvre walked the red carpet arm in arm with actress Eva Riccobono, who looked radiant wearing a glittering ruby red Tommy Hilfiger gown and the elegant Jaeger-LeCoultre Rendez-Vous Sonatina “Amour” watch in pink gold. This special piece was created as a exclusive artistic edition of the Rendez-Vous watches of which each of the three designs of Seduction, Romance, and Amour is released as a limited edition of eight pieces.
Rebecca Hall, member of the “Venezia 74” jury, was wearing an elegantly playful Armani Privé gown and Jaeger-LeCoultre Rendez-Vous Ivy Secret watch in white gold. The scintillating diamonds adorn the entire design and is as much a dazzling piece of jewelry as it is a timepiece.
