Modern or heritage? That is the line that the LANSERRING design house often seem to find themselves elegantly balancing on the edge of. These two extremes actually aren’t as polar opposite as one would think once you get to know them.
Four generations of craftsmanship under the storied Austrian castle of Riegersburg, have created a connection and fine-tuned knowing of wood working that is rarely rivaled. Today’s generation of brothers, Bernd and Johann Radaschitz, have brought state-of-the art joinery to the world stage.
First opening their design house in London, English aristocrats welcomed their artful technique combined with a shrewd eye for what truly elevates a space into a livable luxury. Woodgrains from around the world are juxtaposed against satin-ed bronze and polished chromes.
With their newest deign house launching in Soho, LANSERRING chose to create an exquisite jewel box of a kitchen counter. The marble, glass and golden polished metal doors allows for treasured kitchen pieces, such as heirloom plate collections or vintage English crockery, to finally have their pride of place right at the center of it all.
“With the success of our brand in London, we see in New York the sibling of another leading global city for innovative design and sophisticated culture. It attracts residents who appreciate unique design and the highest quality of craftsmanship, values that are aligned with our brand. New York is also home to many top interior designers and architects, professions we have historically worked very well in partnership and collaborated with on prestigious projects. Soho is the center of innovative design brands with a rich heritage in architecture and luxury retail, a neighborhood that will enhance the experience we want to create in our new show space.”

They dive narrow and deep into the needs of their clients. From homeowners who need a Vogue-worthy kitchen at all times for their entertaining calendar, all the way to those who not only know their way around a cutting board but who also have deep commitments to such culinary techniques of pickling or award-winning ice-cream making. Every Michelin starred chef knows ambience is everything, for we eat with our eyes first, and a LANSERRING kitchen is certainly a feast for the eyes.
“At LANSERRING, our design process and journey always begin as a response to our clients’ individual lifestyles, needs and desires. For instance, the concept for The Delancey kitchen began with a very specific family in mind, and we wanted to create an authentic design that allows life to flourish, uninterrupted; a space that embraces the day-to-day and spontaneous moments cherished by families.”
– BERND RADASCHITZ
