One of the most beloved Dutch museums joined  TEFAF in the 2016 fair through the loan exhibition. This year, Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, Rotterdam presented Collecting Collectors, an exhibition in TEFAF Paper of a small but choice selection of master drawings and prints from their collection, which have been acquired over the last 167 years. Sjarel Ex, Director of Museum Boijmans van Beuningen said, “It was a great pleasure to receive so many visitors to the exhibition of our collection highlights at TEFAF Maastricht 2016. The title of the presentation, ‘Collecting Collectors’, referred to our long-term relationship with private collectors, which equally provides the focal point for the new Public Art Depot, which is to be realised in 2018, and which we proudly promoted at TEFAF.”
